Being Best At One Thing
Anxiety often comes from spreading the attention too thin. Feeling lost or hopeless in a career is often just the awareness that you haven’t mastered anything yet.
In trading, this plays out when you chase multiple strategies at once. By trying to do everything, you dilute your focus and prevent yourself from becoming truly excellent at any one approach.
Humans aren’t built to multitask in the way modern life expects. “Multitasking” is largely an illusion. You can’t juggle multiple complex tasks and perform at the highest level in each.
Look at hyper-successful people - do they dominate several unrelated fields at once? Rarely. Most achieve mastery in one area and their success compounds from there.
Multiple businesses or ventures aren’t really necessary to become wealthy.
